How long do I have online access?

You have lifetime access.

 

How do I login?

You’ll receive an email with a link and your login credentials.

You can login at any time and on any device by going to www.excelacademyinc.com and clicking on Login at the top.

You can login on only one device at a time.

 

How do I change my password?

Click on the avatar in the top right corner and go to Settings.

 

How many courses/workshops are there?

How do I know where to start?

We offer a free 5-minute pre-assessment test to help diagnose your current skill level and most suitable workshop level(s).

It’s available on our website www.excelacademyinc.com – just click on “Assessments” at the top.

 

How does the course work; do I have to tune in at a certain time?

Each course consists of pre-recorded online videos, pdf and Excel downloads, exercises etc.

You can access the course content on-demand – i.e. 24/7 and on any device.

You can also watch the videos and complete the exercises at your own pace.

 

What if I have questions?

Your #ExcelPal is here for support and guidance throughout the process.

There is a comments forum underneath each video.

You can reach your #ExcelPal directly via email.

 

Is there a test at the end of each workshop level?

There is an assessment available for download at the end of each level below the final video.

On successful completion of the assessment you will be issued with your official certificate (usually takes 6-8 weeks).

 

What’s the difference between the pre-assessment and post-assessment? Which should I do?

The pre-assessment has a 5-minute time limit and is found in the “Assessments” tab.

The post-assessment is not timed. It is available for download on the last video of each workshop. It's also available for download in the “Assessments” tab on the website.

You should do the post-assessment at the end of each workshop.

Only do the pre-assessment if specifically asked to.

 

What are the different streams for Excel 101 and which should I do?

Excel 101 is available in the following 2 formats:

  1. Classic (12 videos, approx. 4.5 hours of video content);
  2. Express for Mac (6 videos, approx. 2.5 hours of video content).

Both formats cover the same content. One is for Windows users, then other is for Mac users.

 

What if the videos are not playing or sound is not working?

Make sure you’re using Google Chrome as your browser.

Make sure to clear the cache in your browser history.

Make sure volume is not muted on the computer and on the video itself.
